One of my followers on Facebook recently sent me a DM reading: “Hello Sir, I really want to learn about this tech but I have this fear of coding. Is there any way to do tech without having to code?”

I have decided to make my response a blog post and I am sure she and many others like her would be reading this.

Having a phobia of coding is okay and quite normal. If you’re someone who wants to build a career in the tech world despite not knowing how to code that’s ok! The tech world is not limited to just programming and you don’t have to possess programming skills to get a job in the tech industry.  Whether it’s in start-ups or leading tech companies there is a wide variety of non-coding tech jobs available.

You see, the tech industry happens to be one of the most lucrative industries in the corporate world. This explains why there is a high number of people venturing into it. However, a good number of these people don’t have the flair for coding. Programming isn’t for everyone, It requires a very specific kind of quantitative, analytical mind, and the learning process can be a tough one.

If you are interested in tech but not in coding, then you should explore any of these skills that are equally as valuable, challenging, and lucrative as any tech skill out there.
